This AMHOF-hosted event brings the powerful, esteemed, and ultra cool Harvey Thompson Trio the the Hall of Fame lobby, February 21st, at 6:30 pm. Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 on the day of the event.
The Harvey Thompson Trio is a talented ensemble featuring Harvey Thompson Sr. of Muscle Shoals Horns fame, and his son Harvey Thompson Jr. The trio will be performing a number of hits that include many anthems of the Shoals area that showcase its iconic music style, which was pioneered in part by the Muscle Shoals Horns. Thompson Sr. is a founding member of the Muscle Shoals Horns and has played with Elton John, B.B. King and Bob Seger. He toured most recently with Lyle Lovett. He was inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame in 2016. Harvey Thompson Jr. has performed or recorded with artists such as Percy Sledge and Dennis LaSelle.
